We really love it here.
That’s why the OBCA has been a neighborhood fixture for over 100 years. We’re just the latest group of neighbors, all volunteer, carrying on a long tradition of looking out for our community.
You’ll see us out there mulching the island by the Oakland Beach sign, planting flowers, and getting our hands dirty at beach cleanups. We also love getting everyone together for community events and making sure we’re looking out for each other by supporting local food and holiday drives.
We’re proud to build on over a century of work to keep this place welcoming and beautiful. If you love this neighborhood as much as we do, we’d love for you to join us.

Join us every week and help keep our beautiful beach clean and healthy
Mondays at 7:30am (weather permitting) Meet in the Oakland Beach parking lot in front of the gazebo. Disposable gloves and trash bags provided. Signed Waiver required.
